About Book and Material Donations

NOTICE
Book and Material donations are accepted during posted Bookstore hours. When the Bookstore is closed, please bring your donation to library staff at the Circulation Desk. Donation receipts are available.

Our Donation Guidelines reflect our patrons' areas of interest and what we will accept. If you have any questions about acceptability of your donation after reviewing our guidelines or have special collec­tions, contact us at Enable JavaScript to view address.

Bookstore

Friends of the Morgan Hill Library Bookstore

Our Morgan Hill Steve Tate Library is open Monday through Saturday. We have volunteers scheduled Monday–Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. We regret any deviations from this regular schedule, since we are dependent on volunteers who occasionally may have conflicting commitments when a substitute is not available.

A discount of 10% on books for class use is available in-store to teachers.

Book Sales
The Friends hold book sales 3-4 times a year.
  • The Fall Big Book Sale is planned for Saturday, October 4, 2025.  Watch this space for information.
