Bookstore The Friends of the Morgan Hill Library offers donated books, audio and video recordings for sale in our store adjacent to the lobby in the library. The store is staffed by volunteers. Hours of operation are as follows:*
Big Book Sales The next periodic Big Book Sale will be held in the Program Room at the library on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All books will be $1 or less with a $3/bag sale from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Members-Only Preview will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. View the printable flyer (PDF, 675 kB).
Sorting and Stocking Volunteers Donations are currently sorted all four weekday mornings — Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, starting at 9 a.m. If you would like to become a regular, once-a-week sorter, please contact Volunteer Coordinator, Karen MacDonald, at 408-779-3995 for more information. Sorters review all new donations, fill the bargain book and video wall, and straighten and stock the Friends Bookstore and sorting rooms as needed. We hope you can join our team.
Bookstore or Book Sale Volunteers Members are encouraged to volunteer to staff the Friends Bookstore and/or set up/take down and staff our periodic Big Sales. All Bookstore volunteers receive training and mentoring sessions. You can sign up for any 2-hour or 3-hour shift, or future Big Book Sales. Contact Karen MacDonald, at 408-779-3995 to discuss your interest, and schedule your training today!
